A look back at 2016 with Videoslots.com!

Regardless if you have been with us all year, or if you just discovered our casino – we are thrilled that you are here. Throughout the year of 2016, Videoslots.com has strived even higher and harder. Improvements, new features, fun promotions, and loads of game releases are just parts of what has been focused on. This is the fun year resume of the achievements accomplished! 

New games and smashing upgrades of 2016

We started the year of 2016 with around 1450 games, all from 30 different game providers. With a great deal of dedication and hard work, we are ending the year with over 1.800 games, from 45 game providers! It is a grand increase, and we are still on top when it comes to the number of games. We have paired up with 15 new game providers, some of them being Blueprint, Playson, IGT, GameArt, and Red Tiger Gaming – to name a few. 

One of our most popular features is the Weekly Casino Race – and this has been embellished with numerous upgrades throughout the year. In January of 2016, we made the first upgrade of the year, then with a prize pool of € 27,500 and 1899 players in the running. Today – the Casino Race prize pool has been increased to a staggering € 50,000 with 4864 players in the running to win a cash prize! 

Battle of Slots, a steady growth

Battle of Slots has had quite a few golden moments in 2016. First off, Thunderkick joined forces, side by side with NetEnt and Play´n GO, offering all their games to be battled in this social online casino feature. 

With these, there has been some thrilling Battle of Slots promotions, such as the Battle of Slots Weekends. We had the first one with Sit & Go Freerolls played on the Jimi Hendrix video slot, where an astounding 1 million spins were spun during that weekend! The next Weekend we launched, in Motörhead, saw our players spinning 1.8 million spins – and the record was broken once again! 

Increasingly more players joined up during the year for Battle of Slots, and for us, it is a sheer pleasure to see.
