Hot Blox and Solitaire Games
The action promises to get fiery this Wednesday as High 5 Games presents Hot Blox, a game based around spinning nine 2-reel, 2-row slots at the same time. Things get more Christmassy in Rudolph Gone Wild, a slot from SG Digital featuring a humorous take on the red-nosed reindeer. Following that we have two versions of the popular single-player card game Solitaire, both coming from Gamevy. Retro Solitaire features graphics reminiscent of those found in old computers, while Casino Solitaire is, as the name might suggest, a more visually slick and classy affair.
Hot Blox Gameplay and Features
High 5 Games brings a different take on the traditional slot with Hot Blox, as it spits the game into a board consisting of 9 2-reel, 2-row slots. If any of these mini reels show the same symbol, a Symbol Fusion feature has the 4 symbols fuse into one before awarding you with a winning combination. Meanwhile all reels outside the winning combination continue charging by filling the red meter around the symbols. Once fully charged, the reel gets a multiplier reward for the next 4 spins!
Rudolph Gone Wild Gameplay and Features
The famously red-nosed reindeer stars in this charming SG Digital slot, Rudolph Gone Wild. Rudolph shows up on the reels as a wild, which can appear as stacks up to 8 symbols high. Rudolph wilds also bring free respins, as they move to the left with each spin. During regular spins you might also get the Snow Machine Wilds feature, which blasts the reels with snow and transforms 1-4 symbols on 1-5 reels into wilds. Another random feature is the Flying Elves. This has the little guys march in front of the reels, adding random wilds as they go.
Retro Solitaire Game Features
Retro Solitaire is a Gamevy version of the solo card game beloved in offices all over the world with, as the name might suggest, a retro aesthetic. The game retains the standard format, with a standard deck of 52 cards divided into 7 columns. You win for every card you build up on the 4 initially empty suit stacks on top of the columns. Clear all the columns and have the entire deck on the stacks to win the top prize!
Casino Solitaire Game Features
Casino Solitaire is much like other Gamevy solitaire titles, if with a slick aesthetic worthy of the name. It still consists of the traditional 52-card deck, shuffled and divided into 7 columns, with the aim to build up cards in the 4 empty suit stacks. You can also place side bets on either No Move (where there is no initial move possible from the deal) or Red and Black (start with a hand of all red or all black cards). Either way, the game ends once you either run out of moves or decide to forfeit the match.
