Take 5 Introduction

Take 5 is an online slot which is based on the original slot machines and features three reels and five active paylines. Gamomat, have also included a special feature in the game. Nevertheless, the game maintains a nostalgic allure and is sure to be a favourite amongst retro-aficionados.

Take 5 Game Features

The minimum bet is set at € 0.05 whilst the maximum bet is € 100.

Playing Take 5 is very easy, and you can quickly get the hang of it even if you've never played online slots before. Take 5 features 8 symbols, including the Liberty Bell, which was present in the first-ever slot game invented. The game's main functions can be controlled from the buttons located just below the main slot.

You can also find more advanced options at the top left-hand side of the screen. Amongst the various options, you can also trigger the Turbo Spin feature. This feature shortens the spinning time, so you can squeeze in more spins when you are short on time.

Take 5 Free Spins and Bonuses

In keeping with the classic slot games, Take 5 does not feature any wild or scatter symbols. These special features only became available once video slots were created. However, the creators did include a rather unique bonus feature called Win Repeater.

This feature is randomly triggered and fills the entire reels with the same symbol. When this happens, you will automatically win payouts from all 5 paylines. If the symbol happens to be an orange, plum, lemon or cherry, a wheel of fortune will appear, and you could potentially trigger another round with this bonus. In total, you can trigger this feature up to 5 consecutive times.

Take 5 Payouts

With the Win Repeater feature, you could win a multiplier of 200x your stake if you succeed to trigger it a total of 5 times with either the plum, orange or lemon symbols. You might think that this is the only way to win such a big payout, but in fact, there is another combination. The Lucky Number 7 is the game's most valuable symbol and landing 3 of these on a winning payline gives out the same attractive multiplier.

Here is a list of all the game's symbol payout multipliers; Take 5 pays out a reward when players manage to hit 3 matching symbols on a bet line.

Landing 3 Diamond symbols on a betting line pays out a 1x your stake. 3 Cherry symbols pay 4x stake, while 3 lemons, oranges and plums pay a 8x multiplier on your bet. Three liberty bells will reward players with 20x their bet; 3 double stars pay 50x the stake; and, finally, 3 triple 7s pay out the top prize of 200x the total bet.

Winning combinations pay from left to right and wins on multiple paylines in the same round are added together.

Take 5 Graphics and Sound

Take 5 features a very simple slot design which focuses your entire attention on the game's symbols. Most other slots which are based on classic fruit machines tend to be designed as though you are sitting in front of a real machine. Very often, this attempt to create an immersive experience comes across poorly. Fortunately, Gamomat did not fall into the same trap. Although the game features simple graphics, they complement the game's classical theme perfectly.

As you spin the game's reels, you will hear a variety of different melodies. As older players will confirm, these sounds are identical to classic slot machines. Throughout the game, you can also expect to see small animations that show big wins or the bonus feature.

Whilst slot machines are generally big and cumbersome, Take 5 can easily fit in your pocket. Whilst the slot has a classical theme it runs on a modern system which allows you to enjoy it on your mobile device. No software download is required for you to experience the same features and bonus of the slot.

Take 5 Conclusion

With the rise in popularity of retro gaming, it is inevitable that the classic slot machine theme will be a common recurrence. Whilst the theme of Take 5 might not be original, the creators have added a very exciting bonus feature which can really make the difference in your overall prize pot. Even without the bonus feature, the game's payouts are generally sizeable so you don't need to wait for the bonus symbol to start having fun.
