American Roulette Introduction

American Roulette was released after the success of Switch Studios’ first game, European Roulette. It’s based on the standard, American style Roulette but shakes things up with incredibly life-like graphics, an impressively realistic 3D roulette wheel, and true-to-life ball behaviours.

American Roulette is played using a standard Roulette wheel with numbered pockets ranging from 0 and 00 to 36 on the wheel. Some special features in Roulette include Racetrack bets, Favourite bets, and Special bets, all of which are displayed in a very modern style. Roulette is designed especially for a mobile gaming experience, making it playable in both portrait and landscape mode.

American Roulette Game Features

American Roulette allows you to place both inside bets and outside bets on the table. To start the game, select your chip size and then place the number of chips you want to play with on the table layout. American Roulette is a very easy game to understand and comes with a wide variety of available bets which you can place. Once you’ve placed your chips on the type of bet you want to make, hit the spin button and wait to see where the white ball lands.

The inside bets are the following:

  • Straight Up bet – a bet placed on any individual number on the table layout (from 0 and 00 to 36).
  • Split bet – a bet which is split between two adjacent numbers on the layout (but not adjacent on the wheel).
  • Street bet – a bet which is placed on three consecutive numbers on any row on the table layout.
  • Square bet – this bet is also known as a Corbet bet sometimes and covers four numbers on the table.
  • Line bet – this bet allows you to place your chip to cover six adjacent numbers on the table layout.

The outside bets are the following:

  • Column bet
  • Dozen bet
  • Even-money bet

You can also place Neighbour bets and Call bets on the roulette table. The Neighbour bets are bets places on the neighbouring numbers of the Straight Up bet number on the table.

Favourite Bets

There is also an interesting feature available in American Roulette which is the Favourite bets. Simply choose a number of your favourite bets and add them to the Favourite bets to place them automatically on the table when you want. You can also choose to place your chips on an Even or Odd number bet, on whether the Roulette ball will land on a red or black pocket, or on the numbers 1-18 and 19-36. These are displayed at the bottom of the table.

American Roulette Payouts

  • Straight Up bet pays 35:1
  • Split bet pays 17:1
  • Street bet pays 11:1
  • Square bet pays 8:1
  • Line bet pays 5:1
  • Column bet pays 2:1
  • Dozen bet pays 2:1
  • Even-money bet pays 1:1

American Roulette Graphics and Sound

American Roulette from Switch Studios is designed with impressively realistic graphics and a 3D Roulette wheel that is also incredibly life-like. Switch Studios managed to achieve a real-life casino effect with American Roulette, bringing the authentic casino look to your screen. Designed specifically for mobile play, American Roulette works beautifully on the smallest screen, in both portrait and landscape mode.

American Roulette is also designed to make the game easy to understand and play. On the green felt table, you’ll find all the chip sizes available for you to choose from next to the Spin button which will set the ball in motion. Behind the table, you can see part of a casino-setting with trees and leather chairs around the Roulette table. The table itself is also outlined in gold, making it even more luxurious looking. Overall, Switch Studios managed to give American Roulette a very luxurious, sophisticated look with the highest-quality graphics and accompanying sound effects. You can also hear the dealer’s voice announcing the winning number on each spin!

American Roulette Conclusion

Overall, Switch Studios’ Roulette emulates a real-life casino experience to an impressive degree. The gameplay follows the standard American Roulette rules with a wide range of available bets. The Favourite bets feature lets you save your favourite bets to place them automatically and easily later on in the game and there is even an Autoplay option too.
