What is 21+3 Blackjack?

21+3 Blackjack is a classic Blackjack game where your aim is to beat the dealer with the better hand, always getting closer to 21. But this is with the twist of a Side Bet called 21+3. The 21+3 Side Bet is based on evaluating the players´ two cards, as well as the dealers´ Up Card. If these three together forms one of three special hands, then the player wins. We will reveal more what these are shortly, and how it works in details.

21+3 Blackjack is played against the dealer, with six decks of 52 cards each. The Side Bet is as always completely optional, but for a big win, this is recommended.

How to start the game

The first thing to do, as in all Blackjack games, is to choose and set your bet. This is simple; you just need to choose your desired bet value from the chip selector at the bottom of the screen. You can choose yourself which values you want to use, and you can mix and match however you please – as long as it doesn’t go over the max bet of the game.

You can play up to three hands in each game when playing on the desktop version, meaning that you can choose how many hands you want to add your bets on. Via mobile you can only play one hand at a time.

When the chip values are selected, then you must place your first bet – the Blackjack Bet. Please note that this does not include the Side Bet of 21+3, this is a separate bet.

You place the Blackjack Bet in the white highlighted circle, and this must be placed before the game can start.

After this bet is set, you can choose to place the Side Bet, the 21+3 Bet. You can see where to place this bet per where the highlighted circles are, and you do the same as you did in the first bet.

After you are satisfied with these and the amounts are chosen on them, you simply press the Deal button to start the game.

How to play 21+3 Blackjack

Once the first part of the game is done, and Deal is pressed – the cards will be dealt. As soon as you press the Deal button, the cards are dealt. Your two dealt cards will then be evaluated against the 21+3 pay table. All Side Bets are then settled.

Your Side Bet will be settled before you play your Blackjack hand against the dealer when you have no idea of what the outcome might be.

But then what is the Side Bet 21+3?

Each 21+3 Side Bet is based on 3 cards, the first two cards that are dealt with you plus the dealers up card. If you have placed a Side Bet on a hand where the combination of your first two cards plus the dealers up card and make it a three-card poker hand, then you will win a multiple of your Side Bet stake. The win is then based on the ranking of your card.

The 21+3 Side Bet wins if the two cards dealt to your hand plus the dealers Up card make a three-card poker hand, Suited Trips, Straight Flush, and 3 of a Kind are the hands that can grant you the big wins.

Here are the top wins of the game:

Suited Trips; (three of the same, Jacks, Queen, and King) grants 100-1

Straight Flush; 40-1

3 of a Kind; 25-1

The outcome

When all is settled, you are asked to play your first Blackjack hand and the goal of the game, is as said, to beat the dealer's hand with yours. You beat him by having a hand value that is higher than of the dealer – without exceeding 21.

You play this game as any Blackjack game, with a twist being the 21+3 Side Bet. This is a great addition to an already brilliant game, and Felt has surely made sure that we feel as though we were playing it for real, in a real casino.

If you are a hi-roller, a low-risk player, or just a gaming enthusiast – either way you will love this game and be entertained for hours ends. We hope that you will enjoy it as much as we did.

We wish you the best of luck!
