Day 8 - Space Evader
Saturday night, the kids in bed, the TV on in the background, my lap top and ready for today's game at Videoslots.com. Boring or fun? Fun of course! Today I'll go out on, for me, uncharted territory. I will try one of our Scratch Card games for the first time.
I browse quickly through the games in the browser and stops at a colorful game named Space Evader. Seems to be a space theme where you roll the digital dice to get across a playing field where the ultimate goal is a spaceship. Not quite like a regular scratch card, in other words. Rather more like a classic board game.
You are a space man and the track leading to the spaceship is lined with traps to avoid. If you fall down a trap you make a new bet and start over. The track is also full of multipliers that give you X times your bets. You simply win your bet times the multiplier you pass, and the last passed multiplier pays. The game ends either by you falling into a trap or your 8 rolls are used.
The longer you make it, the higher multiplier you will pass, and the largest is of course the ultimate goal which is the space ship. Where you win 25 000 times your bet! With stakes between € 0.50-€10 it is possible to win a quarter of a million euro if you bet the maximum bet.
I want to play more than once, so I choose to invest €1 per game. I win the first and passes X3 and lands directly on plus for today. Good start. We'll see if I manage to play the entire half hour.
“Easy money”, as a good friend of mine always says. In the third game I reach up to the 5X multiplier and go directly up to €16. 5 minutes have passed. Almost win every time so far, now up to €21. Now I play a bit tactical and bet the minimum bet a few laps, I cannot win all the time, right?
The tactic works, and after losing some minimum bets I go back to investing €1 per game. I now reach both the 3X and 7X, and is now up to €28. 10 minutes left, now it is almost impossible to lose today. I find that there is a turbo button that allows the space man to go faster, and thus each round. I choose to use that feature to make a few extra rounds at the end of the session.
I win up to €30 but missed a couple at the end, so I stay at €28 when the half hour has passed. I must say I was pleasantly surprised by this game. Maybe because I won, but also because it tickles a bit to know that there is a possibility to win really big. I could have won € 25,000 with my bet of €1 per game.
Proud to responsibly have stopped playing with a win after 30 minutes.
