Day 68 - Bonus Poker Deluxe

Ok, 10 new Euros are now loaded to my account and it is time to go all in on one of our Video Poker games. I have played Double Poker Bonus before, so this time I pick one called Bonus Poker Deluxe.

Ouch. The minimum bet is €1,25. I am not going to last long with my €10 if I don´t hit something big. On the other hand I have a chance to win big. I have to start somewhere with my new bank roll. Here we go.

Ah, sorry, I was wrong. I can chose to bet only one coin which means a minimum bet of €0,25, but then I do not have a shot at the top prizes. After reading the rules and terms I realize that 4 of a kind are rewarded progressively for every level/coin you choose to play. It even pays more than a Straight Flush. So that is what I am going for. Nice.

Nice start. I start a bit slow and decide to play the lowest bet. I hit jacks or better two times in a row and a straight in the third hand. Doh, I should have bet max. Ok, continuing with the lowest bet since I should, theoretically lose a couple of hands now. That is exactly what happens. I lose four in a row and then raise my bet to €1,25, playing all five coins. I hit 3 of a kind and win €3,75. Nice.

I win frequently, but I am also wasting my wins trying to double up. I never seem to learn. €8,75 on the bank roll now. Trips again! I am back. I realize that it is a bit too volatile to play all coins with this bank roll, but I am taking a chance here today.

And there we go. A few hands with lost double-ups and the bank roll is history. Tilt. Wrong game. Wrong bank roll. No patience. Frustration. I am going back to a small-stakes Videoslot tomorrow. I need to have a chance to build me a descent bank roll again.
